What we collect

What we don't do

Franky does not sell, share, or monetise your personal data or conversation content with third parties. Our business model is a direct subscription — Franky Plus. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the product and publish market insights. Your personal data is never individually identifiable in any external use.

How we use your data

Cookies

We use session cookies only. These keep you signed in while you use Franky. No tracking cookies. No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking of any kind.

Marketing emails

Only sent if you ticked the box during sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing privacy@sofranky.com.

Data storage

Most of your profile data is stored in your browser's local storage. It lives on your device, not our servers. Any data we do hold server-side is encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS.

How Franky works and what to expect.

What Franky is

Franky is a free financial guidance tool. It uses AI to give you clear, direct answers about personal finance. Savings, investing, pensions, property, debt, tax, and life decisions. Think of it as a knowledgeable friend with no financial products to sell, not as a regulated financial service.

Not regulated financial advice

Nothing on Franky constitutes regulated financial advice. Franky is not authorised or licensed by the FCA, SEC, FINRA, ASIC, MAS, Central Bank of Ireland, CSA, or FMA. It provides general guidance only.

For significant financial decisions, especially those involving large sums, complex tax situations, or circumstances specific to you, you should speak to a regulated financial adviser in your market. Franky will tell you when that's the right call.

Use at your own judgement

Franky gives you frameworks, principles, and market-specific context. It doesn't know every detail of your personal situation. Always consider your own circumstances before acting on anything Franky says. The guidance is general. The decision is yours.

Free tier

The free tier gives you 14 questions every 14 days, permanently. No credit card required. No trial that expires. It stays free.

Acceptable use

You may use Franky for personal financial guidance. You may not:

Availability

We aim for 99% uptime but we can't guarantee it. Franky is a live service. We occasionally need to take it offline briefly for maintenance. We won't do this without good reason.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify registered users and give reasonable notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Franky after that constitutes acceptance.
